Nicole Moudaber has been proving herself as one of the leading ladies in techno and tech house, and today marks the release of the British producer’s latest EP called Roar, available now off of Carl Cox’s Intec Digital label! Following up from her last two massive dual track EPs off of the Drumcode label, with original mixes on the Sonic Language EP and collaborations with Victor Calderone on The Journey Begins EP, we now get two new original mixes called Roar and Brooklyn Hangover.
Nicole has been teasing us with Roar for some time now, as heard in her live sets from festivals like Awakenings in Amsterdam, as well as in her recent set on Adam Beyer’s Drumcode podcast. Roar is a groovy techno track with a dark bass-line that gets overshadowed by a haunting vocal that gets stronger as it builds up into a massive drop that will have you moving non-stop; expect to hear this track during one of the best peak moments of the party! Brooklyn Hangover is a funky tech house track with a variety of dark beats, chords, and sound effects, but the toned down track has a somewhat soothing and calming effect when compared to Roar. The difference in production style of the two tracks really shows off Nicole Moudaber’s range as a producer, and even with today’s release, we already can’t wait for the official release of her unsigned tracks like Movin’ On and Come and Lay.
Keep an ear out for more from Nicole Moudaber coming soon, but until then, have a listen to the Roar EP off of Intec Digital today!
