With the release of Nothing But The Beat that featured a CD containing mainstream tracks and a CD with strait Electronic Music, we’ve been seeing artists such as Alesso, Nicky Romero, and Arman Van Buurn to name a few, taking on CD1 and adding their own feel to the track. Today a new set of remixes have been set out by Michael Calfan, Sidney Samson, Sebastien Drums and a huge collaboration remix from Laidback Luke & David Guetta. With huge momentum from tracks like the big room anthem Resurrection, the upcoming French Rules, the unreleased jew Speak Up, the electro banger Music Box are only a few tracks coming from the remixers while David Guetta himself is still on fire off winning the DJ mag poll and using that energy with his huge South America tour.

All remixes live up to their standards especially the Laidback Luke & David Guetta collaboration remix. In this remix the effect of a heavy drilling bass and loud growling snares with a sidechiained bass use the vocals to build your hype for a heavy drop with a fat heavy bass similar to Nicky Romero’s newest release Toulouse, with vocals coming in every now and then, big progressive chords aid the drop. That simmers into a chord that uses futuristic sounds to build on the vocals.

What remix impressed me the most is the Sebastien Drums remix to the track. With light progressions smooth melodies to aid the vocals, and a light progressive drop yet heavy and with some piano makes it one great remix. Michael Calfan starts his version of with a slick and steady drum roll which builds up into a bass line that he uses under neath the vocals with some snaps that make you wanna move with the music. Keeping the track at the perfect balance between heavy and light with a drop that is great to listen to. Sidney Samson throws his banging dutch signature sound with the original and some big progressive chords and slides. Huge banger status. The remixes are out now on Guetta’s label F*** Me Im Famous.
