The Italian producer Congorock is known for his energetic, “tropical hard house” style of music. We have heard huge hits from him, most notably the track Babylon from 2010, and more recently, the huge hit Ivory, an electro house banger with distinguishable, jungle-like elephant sounds, which has also been wildly successful. Having been supported by a variety of producers, including the Dirty Dutch master Laidback Luke, we now get a remix package of Ivory off of Ultra Records with remixes by The Bloody Beetroots, Mumbai Science, NT89, and an edit by Laidback Luke himself.

Laidback Luke, who has played Ivory during many of his recent sets, has created an edit to the electro track, switching up the progression and playing more with the sound found in the beginning of the original track, rather than leading into the intense build-up that follows later. Always keeping busy with shows, producing, and developing new talent through his MixMash label, Laidback Luke has recently given us the huge collaboration between Chuckie, Martin Solveig, and himself called 1234.

The Italian electro group The Bloody Beetroots, following up from their successful hit Church of Noise, have produced an intense remix with a dark touch to it, using some piano chords throughout leading into the drop that keeps to the original sound. The Mumbai Science remix also plays with the unique sounds found in the original mix of Ivory while using a repetitive electro melody. The NT89 remix is heavier on the bass, using percussion to overpower the fainter sounds found in the original mix.

Check out the massive remix package to Congorock’s Ivory off of Ultra Records today!
