Release Info

TRACK NAME: Who’s Wearing The Cap

ARTIST(S): Sander Van Doorn & Laidback Luke

LABEL(S): Mixmash

GENRE(S): Electro House

Given out by hint’s throughout Laidback Lukes twitter of remixes to the track called Who’s Wearing The Cap by himself and Sander Van Doorn a preview has arisen of the A-TRAK remix. The track was released awhile back with Sander’s album Elev11, and now will feature remixes by A-TRACK and more. Sander is coming off the release of his album which featured some of his latest singles like Koko & Timezone feat. Frederick, new singles including the massive Slap My Pitch Up & Nano as well as new collaborations including Rolling The Dice with Sidney Samson, Drink To Get Drunk with Sia, and obviously Who’s Wearing The Cap with Laidback Luke. He also gave out a free track called Track 12 because of it didn’t fit with the title Elev11 and it had already been produced. Lately you can find Sander coming off his massive U.S. tour where he hit the Electric Zoo festival in NY, Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas and Miami Winter Music Festival and still hitting Sensation in London and Amsterdam, playing his weekly radio show called Identity on Sirius XM, or managing his label Doorn Records. Laidback Luke has a couple of upcoming tracks that we’ve been waiting for like his remixs to Tiesto & Mark Knights collaboration feat. Dino titled Beautiful World, Chris Lake’s Sundown, Aaron Smith single feat. Luvli, DancinPitbull radio smash feat. Marc Anthony titled Rain Over Me, and more! He’s been hosting his huge radio show on Radio FG called Super You & Me which is now moving to Sirius XM! A-Trak is proudly preforming with his friends Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello (aka Swedish House Mafia) at Madison Square Garden. After coming of the massive release of Big Bad Wolf with Arman Van Heiden, and the massive preview collaboration with Steve Angello called Higher featuring its huge daft punk style.

The remix package has been previewed and now includes not only a A Trak remix but now a Mata and Gianni Marino are added into the complication. Mata’s remix starts off with the same huge epic chords we heard in the original, but with a typical dutch build up aiding the chords until we hear a hard Mata style drop blowing you off your feet. After a minuet of hard dutch he throws on the delay and in the back you begin to hear those chords again this time coming in with a much much harder kick drum building up to another drop that you will only be able to hear when the track fully comes out.

Gianni Marino takes the track to a different level then any other. Starting off with some slow progressions and some white noise aid, with the epic chords chopped up a little bit, until it hits you, this is going to be dubstep. The chords come in with perfectly aligned chops and continue to build on the progression until it slowly eases into a sample and drops right there. The drop is unlike any dubstep I’ve ever heard in my live sampling different sounds and making this remix labeled dubstep.

The remix bundle has everything desired, tech, electro, and dubstep with the original holding the title of big room progressive. If you’re able to handle these remixes, they will be out December 4th on Laidback Luke’s Mixmash Records.

    Thanks for the preview :-)

    And, it’s “A-TRAK” not “a~track”
