Release Info

ARTIST(S): Fedde Le Grand & Deniz Koyu & Johan Wedel

LABEL(S): Flamingo Recordings

GENRE(S): Progressive House

With the elevated success of a remix for James Blunt’s track Dangerous by Deniz Koyu & Johan Wedel, the duo teams up again this time with Fedde Le Grand as the bring us the newest track to Flamingo Recordings, New Day. With a great year for Deniz Koyu being my breakout artists of the year with huge tracks like Tung and Hertz, his skills as a DJ and producer have led him to a U.S. tour with none other then Fedde Le Grand, who has also seen much success this year with beatport chart smashers like his remix to Paradise, or some of his unreleased collaborations with Nicky Romero and their remix to Gee’s Slacking, and their collaboration techy single Freaky. The two artists are bound to bring us some more great tunes to enjoy in 2012.

Their new triple collaboration new day starts off a anthem style melody, with support from claps and a building bass it builds into a fast hard hitting drop that builds and then fades into a different style sound. The second version of the drop then begins to fade into a melody until all the music stops and a looped voice comes in for about five seconds while the melody builds behind the vocal, and that epic melody comes back in, this time with support from offbeat high hats that combination work perfectly together. The track New Day is set for release in January or Febuary on Flamingo Recordings but check out this exclusive first look at New Day.
