[Preview] Michael Woods – Drop Zone (Avicii Remix) / Avicii – ID

Release Info

TRACK NAME: ID

ARTIST(S): Avicii

GENRE(S): Progressive House

RELEASE DATE: Any information

Fans or haters of Avicii, you’ll finally agree on one thing. These two tracks are A-MA-ZING. Out of the classical style of Avicii, these songs rejoin a smaller audience, the real House audience to be specific. They sound really different and less commercial then the other songs such as Penguin, Blessed, Bromance, etc. He used a complete different synth and gives to the tracks a deeper electro sound. The violin chords in the first one literally gave me shivers. The rumors we are hearing from now on this one it’s that it could be a remix of a Michael Woods track called Drop Zone. Played at the Music Box in Los Angeles a few months ago, Avicii decided that EDC Las Vegas was a great gig to launch this bomb. The second track is as good as the first one. The drop integrates a admirable bassline to the astonishing main beat and sounds pretty perfect to me. This second song may be inspired by a song by The Temptations named Papa Was A Rolling Stone. However, this is a simple rumor. It could take a long time to be released as we all know Avicii. Have a great time guys

Avicii kinda keeps copying everyone. Papa was a Rolling Stone, he basically stole the synth from Acid Rocker – Henrik B as well as the build up to “Papa was a ….” to drop.

    Just like Acid Rocker.

And the first one better be a remix to Michael Woods or else I have no faith in Avicii.

Awesome work by Avicii as always. Lol Avicii copying everyone? That’s why when one of Avicii’s songs play, everyone recognizes his unique style and knows its him? You seem to have zero faith in him to start with so basically that last part you stated is insignificant. Haters gonna Hate.

I agree a little bit with the first comment. Some of the Avicii’s song are very printed by others. The best example : Penguin = Penguin Cafe Orchestra – Perpetuum Mobile.
