Miami Music Week is finally here once again! The biggest week of dance music that takes over Miami annually, turning South Beach into a non-stop 24/7 dance party, always provides electronic music listeners with something extraordinary, as it’s one of the earliest times of the year that we get to hear hundreds of artists’ newest unreleased records, latest mixes, as well as several major announcements. During MMW, every “genre” of dance music gets the spotlight, but for years running some of the biggest, most mind-blowing parties have been underground, whether it be house, tech house, or techno. This year, techno reigns supreme once again with an incredible line-up, and House4DJ is here to fill you in on some of the top techno parties that you simply can not miss!
Thursday, March 26
First up, get a double dose of the “Queen of Techno” Nicole Moudaber for a two day, daytime/nighttime affair. Kicking it off with her return to The Raleigh pool, Nicole Moudaber’s MoodDAY party will take place on Thursday, March 26, from 12PM-10PM, with what is sure to be an insane back to back set with NYC legend Victor Calderone, a set from special guest Green Velvet, and more. Marking one year since the launch of her Mood record label as well as In The Mood Radio weekly show, we’ll get a special live stream from MoodDAY starting at 3PM EDT which you can listen to by clicking here.
Saturday, March 28
Following up from MoodDAY at The Raleigh, the party continues with Nicole Moudaber’s MoodNIGHT party at underground hotspot Trade on Saturday, March 28. Showing support at MoodNIGHT is Skin, who has recently been collaborating with Moudaber on several new tracks due to be released on the Mood record label later this year – keep an ear open for these exclusives on the dance floor!
Sunday, March 29
No Miami Music Week would be complete without a proper closing party at the legendary nightclub Space, and finishing things off once again is techno legend Adam Beyer and the prodigious Drumcode Records family! Starting Sunday, March 29, at 10PM, and no listed closing time (most likely Monday afternoon), Adam Beyer is holding no punches with his insane roster of techno icons and up and coming stars, including heavy hitters Victor Calderone, Joseph Capriati, Alan Fitzpatrick, to name a few! The weekly Drumcode Radio show, which features both studio mixes and live sets, is the undisputed world champion of pure techno broadcasted in over 40 countries, and we are likely to hear some highlights from the MMW closing party over the next few weeks, so stay tuned!
Stay tuned for more on Miami Music Week as well as announcements on these artists coming soon!
