On Thursday, May 31, an exclusive engagement was held at Provocateur in New York City to announce the first ever Sensation party in the US – and as revealed earlier this week, this amazing event will be held at New York’s brand new Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The official dates for this event are October 26 and October 27, and although the performing artists have not yet been announced, we are sure to expect an amazing line-up for this extraordinary event.
It has been confirmed by Duncan Stutterheim, founder of Sensation and part owner of ID&T, that the Sensation Innerspace party due to take place in Brooklyn will be the only Sensation America party we will see in 2012, but more will appear on tour around the US in 2013. Questions also arose whether Sensation Black, the darker, more underground side of the Sensation party will ever appear in the US, especially to cater to the New York crowd that loves this particular style, and Stutterheim didn’t rule it out. Also confirming that the event will only run from 8pm-2am EST at the Barclays Center, it has been revealed that official Sensation after-parties will likely take place in New York City.
The Innerspace version of Sensation will put the audience through an amazing seven part journey, using heart-stopping show elements and top-notch productions, unlike anything ever seen before, for a truly unique experience.
Sponsors for this event include: Live Nation Entertainment, the world’s leading live entertainment and ecommerce company; Anheuser-Busch’s Bud Light Platinum, which has been supporting the house music scene featuring producers like Avicii in their recent commercials; and dance4life, Sensation’s exclusive charity.
People will travel the US and the world for this once-in-a-lifetime experience, so traveling packages will be available. Make sure to buy tickets for this 21+ event when they go on sale June 8, and stay tuned for more information, including artist announcements, as they are revealed!
