UPDATE: As of June 27, the venue of NEW YORK MADE has been changed to Governors Beach Club on Governors Island NYC! Out of concern for the event lawn at Randall’s Island, following damage from heavy rains in early June, Made Event has relocated the event to Governors Beach Club, giving the newly restored grass time to grow in time for Electric Zoo, which will still take place on Randall’s Island Park! Made Event has also confirmed that the event will go on for an extra hour, ending at 12am! Get your tickets for this great charitable event now!
Made Event, the event organizing company responsible for bringing Electric Zoo and some of the biggest artists in the world to the New York City area have announced a special summer benefit called NEW YORK MADE that will take place on August 3 at Randall’s Island Park!
NEW YORK MADE is a special benefit that will raise money and awareness for local charities that support Randall’s Island Park, the home to Made Event’s annual Electric Zoo Festival over the last four years, and neighboring children’s arts programs in East Harlem and South Bronx. From 4PM-11PM at Randall’s Island Park you can catch two of New York City’s greatest legends, Danny Tenaglia and Victor Calderone, as well as New York City’s own Wolf + Lamb and Sleepy & Boo! Also headlining is a huge special guest (and honorary New Yorker), John Digweed! You can also catch all of the NEW YORK MADE headliners at Made Event’s Electric Zoo Festival on Randall’s Park Island on Labor Day Weekend, where each artist will be headlining the legendary Sunday School stage!
All proceeds from NEW YORK MADE will go to three of NYC’s local charities – the Bronx Museum of the Arts, the Mariachi Academy of New York, and Urban Farm, a program of The Randall’s Island Park Alliance.
Get your tickets now and help support a great cause! See you there!
