Maturity and success for the 3rd edition of the MICS

From November 7th to 9th, the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco was home to the third edition of the international fair dedicated to nightlife professionals. Almost 10,000 visitors came from all corners of the world in order to meet with the ambassadors of the 100 brands present at the show. A very positive outcome for the MICS that allows the fair to confirm its status as leader of events dedicated to nightlife.

9 867 visitors representing 35 nationalities a major part from Eastern Europe, met up at the MICS this year. The quality of the visitors was appreciated by the exhibitors as they were able to make promising contacts thanks, for instance, to the Best Buyers programme.

The decision makers of 100 French and international clubs were invited this year to the MICS in order to participate in and benefit from tailor-made meetings suited to their needs and requests. This initiative was welcomed enthusiastically by the exhibitors who remarked that these guests were both involved and serious buyers. A great majority of the Best Buyers came to the fair with specific projects concerning club openings or renovations.

The Village Premium :

The true heart of the exposition, the MICS Village was host to a great number of animations and events during the 3 days : BMX shows by Monster Energy, Flair competitions by Bacardi, Fashion TV Clubbing Awards as well as the first ever MICS Awards, a ceremony rewarding the best exhibitors of the 2012 edition.

The Conferences :

The 5 conferences organized during the 3 days welcomed an audience of 500 people that gathered to listen to the opinions and experience of over 20 keynote speakers such as Bob Sinclar and Joachim Garraud. Speeches were given by top professionals concerning the central themes surrounding the nightlife industry: communication, music, technique, design, and beverages.

MICS DJ Festival:

The DJ Festival, organized in parallel with the tradeshow was hosted for the third edition by the LIFE Club. During 4 nights (7, 8, 9 & 10 november) a number of artists coming from different backgrounds shown their talents. For the opening of the Festival, the first edition of the NRJ DJ AWARDS took place in order to reward the best French and international DJs during the ceremony. Amongst those present during the ceremony were: Martin Solveig, Antoine Clamaran, Joachim Garraud, Bob Sinclar, Basto, Global Deejays, (Black Eyed Peas), Tara Mc Donald, Michael Calfan, Michael Canitrot. The Festival also welcomed Bob Sinclar, Pharrell Williams and Hardwell the following nights.
