[After Event] Stealth Records presents Rogez Sanchez @ Queen Club, Paris – 29.10.2011

On October 29th, Stealth Records presented Roger Sanchez at Queen Club in Paris with Baggi Begovic as guest! It was hosted by French Queen Resident Dan Marciano and closed by Fredelux.

The party began with a very good warm up from Dan Marciano. He played perfect House tracks, which fitted well with the special Stealth atmosphere. Indeed, the Club was decorated with some panels from Roger Sanchez‘ imprint in order to captivate your mind to this special night.

Baggi Begovic took the turntables and trust me it was an insane moment! Tracks went on back to back, as good as the others! He had the perfect flow to make people dance. And they did it! Again and again! He played between Disco/Funk House and fat House anthem. It resulted big “whoop-whoop”  screams from the crowd and “put-your-hands-up” dances. Rotterdam-based, Baggi Begovic has been spinning all over the globe, in fabled clubs and at reputed festivals like Ministry of Sound, Mysteryland, Creamfields, Extrema Outdoors, Dance Valley and Global Gathering. He has shared the decks with top producers and top jocks: Dennis Ferrer, Erick E, Sharam, Funkerman, Erick Morillo, Chocolate Puma, Roger Sanchez.
Come to think of it, Baggi Begovic is a top jock himself!

Needless to say that it is not necessary to present Roger Sanchez…. One of the first DJ superstar, pioneer in the House music, one word: Superstar! He incarnates the whole deep, dancing and simple great House Music from New York. The Master began with his upcoming tune called Flashing Lights out soon on Stealth. It burned the place with good lights effects! I never heard this track in live, you should, a delight! Born in Queen, Roger spent his younger years soaking up the musical influences that were the lifeblood of his home town! The result is underdressed! “I have always listened to a wide range of music, taking different influences from hundreds of styles. The diversity of the sounds I hear influence different lines of thought when I’m in the studio creating something new.” It explains more his creativity and inspiration.
Roger has remixed superstars such as Chic, Daft Punk, Diana Ross and The Police, contributed to the soundtrack of Hollywood movie Blade, and founded 3 record labels before his beloved Stealth.
Sanchez also hosts a terrestrial and online radio show called “Release Yourself,” with 15,000,000 listeners worldwide. In 2006 a podcast was created as a spin-off from the radio show under the same moniker and went on to win the first ever Podcast Award at the International Dance Music Awards (IDMA). He has also released a series of compilation albums based called Release Yourself which are known for being very upfront musically. 2011 marks the 11th release in the hugely successful “Release Yourself” series.

Finally, it was necessary to make a little sum-up! Go see them!

House4DJ would like to thank Queen Club for inviting us to this huge event. See you next time!
